Installing Office programs to your own computer (Microsoft 365)
You can install the Microsoft 365 package on your home computer free of charge if you are studying or working at Sedu or SeAMK.
The package includes all Office software, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. The software is available throughout the employment or studying.
Installation on a home computer
1. Log in to the EPEDU O365 service at https://office365.epedu.fi. Log on to the machine where you are installing Office. (Windows / Mac)
2. On the home page, in the upper right corner, click Install Office.
3. Start the installation from the Microsoft 365 Applications button. Please note that the package will be installed in the language defined for your field of study. (e.g. on the technical side in English).
4. Run or save the file when your browser asks for a save.
5. You can then begin the Office installation. After installation, you can log in to Office applications.
Changing the language and bit setting
By default, the installation uses a 32-bit installation and the default language specified for the training area. To change these settings, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the EPEDU O365 service at https://office365.epedu.fi. Log on to the machine on which you are installing Office. (Windows / Mac)
2. On the home page, in the upper right corner, click Install Office.
3. Click Other Installation Options.
4. In the tab that opens, select the Applications and Devices tab.
5. Here you can select the language and bit rate, then click the Install Office button, and Office will download to your computer.
